Carrizal remote and beautiful
Here we are in Carrizal just around the corner from busy Manzanillo, but it feels like we are miles from anywhere. Think this is our favorite anchorage to date.
Center of the picture the small deep cove, that is Carrizal. Lovely!

Grand Bay Hotel
The Marina attached to the Grand Bay Hotel ran a super bowl special rate and we took the opportunity to fill up with water, wash the boat and do some boat chores.
Oh, and enjoy the wonderful facilities here.
Marina where Rebecca is located.

"Peace Inn"
Just another sitting area, brought a sandwich from the restaurant and had lunch here. Top floor, by the presidential suite
One of the frustrating things about
interacting with our friends and families back home is trying to
explain the hardships we endure with this lifestlye we have chosen.
They just don't understand the sacrifices we make on a daily basis.
For example today I “fell” into the pool and just couldn't get
out. Oh well, I guess there is no way to really explain it.

Oh how fun! Your dinghy is your car!
Sometimes . . . today we had a nice entrance to La Manzanilla, I
always wear a swimming suit, and put a dress in a waterproof bag so I
will have something nice and dry to wear. Going in today was great,
didn't get wet past my calves. Had a nice day walking around La
Manzanilla at an art walk. Saw some very nice art and even better,
some beautiful homes.
After picking up a few things we headed
back to the dinghy. Tide was out, so we hauled the dinghy out to the
water until it floated. Then we wait for a wave set, followed by a
lull. Marcus is in back pushing and I jump into the boat when he
says go, then I crouch down in the bottom of the boat to keep the bow
up when the next wave comes by so we will ride OVER the wave. If we
miscalculate, or the next wave is bigger than we think the wave goes
over my head and I am drenched.
